Hello in there! Spring is here! It’s time to come out and play, time to cheer! The beginning of Spring is a time of creation when all is restored and revived. Winter is behind us and we are ready to bloom so that the summer sun can nourish us for the months to come.

This can be a new start. Take some time to write down a new health plan, including goals for you. How do you wish to feel and what you would like to do and see happen? Let the dreams blossom and feel rejuvenated by doing so.

Don’t be overwhelmed! Just plant the seeds and watch each flower blossom. There may be weeds in there you want to discard. Your weeds may be junk food. Think about what whole foods taste good and start to replace “the junk” one item at a time.

Spring offers an opportunity to look at patterns in our life with a new awareness.
Think about what you would like to accomplish. Do you want to lose weight or do you just want to feel healthier?

Fresh fruits and vegetables are more plentiful this time of year. Why not substitute ripe organic strawberries and blueberries for your winter snacks that may not have been as healthy and know these new additions will do you well! Your body and mind with thank you ten fold! It’s all about balance! Our four seasons offer us great opportunities to try new nutritional foods, so start enjoying them today! Happy Spring!
